Empowering Young Women through Rowing and Leadership
Camp Lucy is a transformative summer camp designed for middle school girls entering 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. With a special focus on serving underprivileged girls, Camp Lucy offers a safe and supportive space where participants can build confidence, develop leadership skills, and experience the empowering sport of rowing. The camp is open to all skill levels—whether you’re an experienced rower or brand new to the sport—helping each girl discover her strength, set goals, and form lasting connections.
Rooted in the belief that sports are a powerful tool for personal growth, Camp Lucy provides opportunities that many participants might not otherwise have access to. Named in honor of Lucy Pocock, a pioneer for women in rowing, the camp blends physical activity, leadership workshops, and meaningful conversations about courage, resilience, and kindness.
2025 Camp Dates:
July 14 – July 25
Each day includes rowing sessions on Seattle’s beautiful Lake Washington, interactive workshops on personal growth and leadership, and plenty of opportunities to connect and grow with peers. No prior rowing experience is required—just a willingness to try something new!
