Cost: $55

Payment may be made online until midnight, Thursday, March 14.  Thereafter payment must be made in the office.

What it is:The Green Lake Spring Regatta is a 1000 meter regatta.  It is a sprint race with the start line on the north end of the lake and the finish line at the south end next to the Green Lake Small Craft Center.

Where it is:

Our trailer and food area will be directly underneath the aquatheater next to the Green Lake Small Craft Center.  Viewing is best along the shore just north of the Green Lake boathouse or in the aquatheater.

Who is racing:

All varsity girl and novice athletes will compete.
The varsity boys squad will not be competing at Green Lake but may hold a practice that morning at Mount Baker.  The boys coaches will have more specifics regarding their plans.

Saturday, March 16:
Racing from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm.  Coaches will inform athletes when they are expected to be at the race site.
Most athletes will need either arrive early (about 5:30 am) to help unload the trailer or stay later to help load at the end of racing.  Their responsibilities will be based on when they are racing.
For more information regarding the race schedule, go to Green Lake’s website.  There you will find the most recent copy of the schedule.  If you are trying to figure out when your child is racing, you may not be able to find out until your child’s coach has posted lineups.  Usually this happens several days prior to the regatta.

Other Stuff:

Novices will most likely be racing in the white Mount Baker t-shirt while varsity athletes will race in unisuits/race tanks. However, coaches may have other ideas if the weather is particularly cold and/or rainy.
Food will be provided by our stellar group of volunteers.
We HIGHLY recommend that athletes carpool as much as possible.  Parking is limited and illegally parked cars may be ticketed and/or towed.
