Coming up on Saturday, April 7 is the Mt Baker, Everett, Sammamish Scrimmage (M.E.S.S.). This is a more laid back event which will involve several shorter pieces rather than one single distance. The idea is to allow crews to make adjustments and improvements between each piece. Coaches will be on the water during the racing to watch and give feedback. We find that these events are extremely beneficial as we head into our second half of the competitive season.
Unlike past years, we will not be transporting the athletes to the race course, so they are expected to go directly to the Everett Rowing Association boathouse.

Athletes will need to be at the boathouse by 6:45 am in order to unload and rig prior to racing.

Food will be served by the Everett parents group. Cost for athletes is included in the regatta costs, cost for family and friends is $5 per person.
Athletes will need to go to Mount Baker after racing on Saturday afternoon in order to unload the trailer. Right now we anticipate that they will need to be there at 2:00, but we will know a more accurate time once the trailer is loaded. Unloading should not take more than 30 minutes. We hope to have everything completed by 3:00, but we highly recommend allowing more time as delays in racing will delay our end time.
